Monterrey Mexico - Chipinque Hike    July 2025

 

 

In Monterrey, I had the chance to hike Chipinque with the Solinsa team, and it became much more than just a trail—it was a day of bonding and discovery. We crossed wooden bridges, passed fields of wildflowers, and noticed cactus, butterflies, and birds along the way. Then came the moment none of us will forget: a mama bear and her cub stepped onto the path right in front of one of our teammates, who captured the encounter on video for us all. Between the natural beauty, the laughter we shared, Monterrey’s historic character, and the delicious food that followed, the memory is one I will always carry.

En Monterrey tuve la oportunidad de hacer una caminata en Chipinque con el equipo de Solinsa, y se convirtió en mucho más que un sendero: fue un día de unión y descubrimiento. Cruzamos puentes de madera, pasamos por campos de flores silvestres y observamos cactus, mariposas y aves en el camino. Luego llegó el momento que ninguno de nosotros olvidará: una osa con su cría apareció en el sendero justo frente a una de nuestras compañeras, quien grabó el encuentro en video para todos nosotros. Entre la belleza natural, las risas compartidas, el carácter histórico de Monterrey y la deliciosa comida que siguió, quedó un recuerdo que siempre llevaré conmigo.
