California Lost Coast ! by Abe Sanoja Whispers of the Lost Coast Where the cliffs meet the restless tide, We walked where silence dares to hide. The trail, both rocky and steep with grace, Carved its way through a wild, hidden place. Sea lions barked on sunlit stones, And otters rolled in foamy zones. Above us, gulls and hawks took flight, While summer blooms lit up the light. We watched the whales breach far and wide, Their echoes rolling with the tide. And every step on shifting sand Felt blessed by nature’s careful hand. We timed our march with ocean's mood, Respecting tides, both fierce and shrewd.
