California Lost Coast !

Whispers of the Lost Coast

Where the cliffs meet the restless tide,
We walked where silence dares to hide.
The trail, both rocky and steep with grace,
Carved its way through a wild, hidden place.

Sea lions barked on sunlit stones,
And otters rolled in foamy zones.
Above us, gulls and hawks took flight,
While summer blooms lit up the light.

We watched the whales breach far and wide,
Their echoes rolling with the tide.
And every step on shifting sand
Felt blessed by nature’s careful hand.

We timed our march with ocean's mood,
Respecting tides, both fierce and shrewd.
There was no map but sky and sound,
Just footprints fading on the ground.

And when the sun sank down the west,
The world turned gold, then burned to rest.
A firelit hush, the sea's deep sigh,
The Lost Coast dreaming under sky.

Donde los acantilados se encuentran con la marea inquieta,
caminamos donde el silencio se oculta y se reta.
El sendero, rocoso y empinado con temple,
se abrió paso en un lugar salvaje y escondido, siempre.

Leones marinos ladraban en piedras al sol,
y nutrias rodaban en espuma sin control.
Sobre nosotros volaban gaviotas y halcones,
mientras las flores de verano encendían pasiones.

Vimos ballenas saltar en la inmensidad,
sus ecos rodaban con la marea y su verdad.
Y cada paso sobre arena cambiante
se sintió bendecido por la mano vibrante.

Ajustamos el paso al humor del mar,
respetando mareas, feroces al andar.
No había mapa más que cielo y sonido,
solo huellas que se borraban en el camino.

Y cuando el sol cayó al poniente,
el mundo se tornó oro, luego ardió silente.
Un susurro de fuego, un suspiro profundo del mar,
la Lost Coast soñando bajo el cielo estelar.
