Amid the whispering pines, where old meets new,

On Hwy 90's Mailbox Hike, a trail of tales accrue.

Through forests thick with stories, water's gentle flow,

Past trees struck by lightning, where roots and dreams grow.

Six miles ascend, through rocks and dirt we tread,

To the summit where a mailbox stands,

weathered but not misled.

There, vistas conquer skies,

Rainier and Baker gleam,

And Steven's Pass,

a gateway to a hiker's dream.

In nature's silent theater, where echoes softly sigh,

Mailbox Hike unfolds its magic 'neath Washington's endless sky.

Step by step.

Paso a paso.
