From Portugal came one with a gentle stride, and soon a circle formed, from nations far and wide. We each walked at our own chosen pace, Through forests, hills, and sacred space. Sharing stories, laughter, moments deep, And memories our hearts will always keep. We danced beneath the stars and sun, In quiet towns when the walking was done. Step by step to Santiago we came, With gaiteros playing joy without shame. We celebrated with arms open wide, Grateful to have walked side by side.
